BLOK ČESKÉHO SKLA z.s.

is an association founded in 2016 by gallerist Jitka Pokorná, glass artist Vladimíra Klumparová and collectors husband and wife Michael and Jitka Macková. The purpose of the foundation and main activities of the BLOCK is to contribute to the protection and care of the cultural heritage of the Czech art glass and glass industry in general, to support the development of Czech glass art in an international context, visibility and consolidation of the prestige of Czech glass art, to contribute to the development and growth of domestic and foreign public about Czech glassmaking, support for Czech glassmaking and young glass artists. The exhibition BEHIND THE EDGE OF GLASS in cooperation with the Dancing House Gallery and the DOROTHEUM auction house is the first BLOCK project.
