Vladimir Bachorik(*1963) is a Sculptor and Glass Artist. He attended the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He has exhibited his work in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and also in Netherlands, Germany,
France, Switzerland and Japan. His glass objects burst with light, generous in design, massive in size, yet pure in form. Daring geometry sets a cunning game of unexpected shapes and colors. Ice–toned and encouraging, these objects have a life of their own.
PROXIMITY–Hemispheric shapes used in one part. Crystal clear color allowed visibility of accidental nebulas of bubbles. Name Proximity comes from our nearest star Proxima Centauri.
